Chamkani, Pakistan
Chamkani (Pashto: څمکنۍ) is a neighborhood of Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Chamkani tribe is also the name of a sub-tribe of Pashtuns who are based around the town of Tsamkani in Paktia Province.

The village was originally named Tsamkani after the Pashtun tribe, but later on changed Chamkani or Sokani. Its people are called Sokaniwaal or Chamkaniwal.
