Chairperson Central Board of Excise & Customs

Chairperson, Central Board of Indirect taxes and Customs or Chairperson CBIC is the senior most IRS officer in the Government of India. The Chairperson is the ex officio Special Secretary to the Government of India and also cadre controlling authority of the Indian Revenue Service. Chairperson is also equivalent to Secretary to Government of India. S. Ramesh is the Chairman of Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.

The Finance Minister of India appoints (CBIC) Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs Chairperson.
