Critical reception

The Times of India - the critical reviews of 4 out of 5 stars

Overall, the film is a complete family package, with humour engaging audiences all through its two and half hours.

—Jaspreet Nijhar, Times Of India[8]

Hindustan Times - 3 out of 5 stars

The jokes never stop, even when their dalliance with logic reaches a breaking point. And when you are not laughing at a joke, you are watching a song with camera focusing on Sonam Bajwa’s luminous charms.

—Jyoti Sharma Bawa, Hindustan Times[9]

The Tribune - 4 out of 5 stars

Creativity is not competition, creativity is growth and it is always unique to itself, just like this week’s Punjabi film release Carry On Jatta 2, which inarguably stands on its own, steers clear of any comparisons with its own prequel.

—Jasmine Singh, The Tribune [10]
