Sonam Bajwa is an Indian model and actress active in Punjabi films and Tamil cinema. She participated in the Femina Miss India contest in 2012. She played the leading female role in the 2014 blockbuster Punjabi film Punjab 1984.[2]

Early life and modelling career

Sonam Bajwa was born at Majhola Nanakmatta, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, India.[3] She completed her schooling from Jaycees Public School, Rudrapur. Her family, which consists of a sister Seerat and her mother and father, reside in Sydney, Australia. However, she resides in India. She became an air hostess and pursued a career in acting. In 2012 she participated in the Femina Miss India contest.[4]

She was subsequently listed to act in Happy New Year, but was not chosen for the role.[5]
