The Buresh Archeological Site, near Caldwell in Sumner County, Kansas, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.[1]
Excavations reported by Tom Witty at the archeological site, also denoted 14SR303, have revealed remains of four houses. Two houses are square, one is oval, and one is rectangular.[2]
Radiocarbon dating estimated 1050 A.D. as the date of the site, but the dating method was deemed unreliable.[2]
