Plot

The film begins Latha Devi (Ramya Krishna) daughter of a millionaire Panakala Swamy (Satyanarayana) escaping from the house with the help of her step-mother Parvathi (Srilakshmi) to avoid the match seen by her father. Latha reaches Tirupati, where she meets a nice guy Ravi (Rajendra Prasad). In the beginning, their acquaintance moves with piety quarrels. Ravi lives along with his parents (Raavi Kondala Rao & Radha Kumari) and grandmother Lakshmi Devi (Anjali Devi). He has a close friend Balu (Subhalekha Sudhakar) who loves a girl Tara (Bhagyasri) friend of Latha. Because Balu is afraid of his grandfather Jeedimetla Zamindar (Rallapalli), he plans a drama, by focusing Ravi & Latha as his parents while helping their friends both of them goes into trouble later they fall in love. Parallelly, Panakalu fixes Latha's alliance with Balu. Meanwhile, Guru Murthy (Ranganath) an NRI, brought up by Ravi's grandfather Jagannadham (Gummadi) invites Lakshmi Devi to inaugurate his factory at Hyderabad. In the function, Lakshmi Devi becomes emotional seeing Panakalu and collapses. Ravi immediately rushes to Hyderabad and asks his grandmother actually what has happened? Then Lakshmi Devi reveals the past, his grandfather Jagannadham has constructed a house called Brundavanam in the city. Panakalu is their distant relative who cheated his grandfather and illegally occupied their house which led to his grandfather's death. Knowing this fact, Ravi promises his grandmother that he will regain their house. Now a comic tale starts, Ravi enters into Panakalu's house as a tenant with the help of Balu where surprisingly he meets Latha and comes to know that she is Panakalu's daughter. He tells her the entire past, here she too joins hands with him. Ravi teases Panakalu in many ways and succeeds in getting back their house by changing his attire into various forms of disguise. At last, Panakalu also realizes his mistake and says sorry to Lakshmi Devi. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Ravi & Latha.
