Borovany (German: Forbes) is a small town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, near České Budějovice. It has cca 3,700 inhabitants.
Hamlets Vrcov, Hluboká u Borovan, Dvorec, Třebeč, Radostice and Trocnov are administrative part of Borovany.
