Bonny Hills is a town in New South Wales, Australia about 30 minutes drive south of Port Macquarie.

The Wauchope - Bonny Hills Surf Club is the longest established organisation within the town and has been continuously operating since 1958. The Surf Club built a new club house at their headquarters of Rainbow Beach in 2009 replacing the original building which was built by voluntary local efforts in 1959.

Bonny Hills has a service station, local Tavern, local beach, two holiday parks, post office and a fire station.

Population

In the 2016 Census, there were 2,971 people in Bonny Hills. 86.4% of people were born in Australia. The next most common country of birth was England 3.7%. 94.7% of people spoke only English at home. The most common responses for religion were No Religion 26.9%, Anglican 24.9% and Catholic 23.7%.[1]
