Bhalot Shera

Bhalot Shera is a village in Gujrat District, Punjab, Pakistan.

History

Gujrat's oldest mosque dates from the Mughal era, and resembles Lahore's Badshahi Mosque.

The city was established by a Sufi Shera, in his memos records the following information on Bhalote Shera:Residents of Bhalot Shera are all Jatt Uppal by Caste and it is situated in Union council Haji Mohammed. Muhammad Ishtiaq Uppal Advocate is the first law graduate and is practising in Kharian Bar Association since 2007.
