Ben Vellacott (born 28 March 1995) is a Scottish rugby union player who plays at scrum-half for Gloucester Rugby.

Club career

Vellacott was a member of the Exeter Chiefs Academy, before switching to Gloucester. On 19 January 2017, Vellacott signed his first professional contract with Gloucester at Kingsholm Stadium.[1]

International career

Vellacott has played for Scotland at under-17 and under-18 levels - giving a man-of-the-match performance against England at the former age grade. He made his Scotland under-20 debut off the bench against Ireland U20s in January 2014 during the 2014 Six Nations Under 20s Championship and scored his side's only try, in the final minutes.[2] Ben was named in the Scotland U20 squad for the Junior World Championships in Italy in June 2015.[3]
