Bapatla West (rural) is a village in Bapatla mandal, located in Guntur District of Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located on the west of the Bapatla town and falls in Bapatla mandal of Tenali revenue division.[2][3]

Government and politics

Bapatla West gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[4][5] The panchayat is divided into wards and each ward is represented by an elected ward member. The ward members are headed by a sarpanch and the present sarpanch is Asodi Chinnammai, who got elected in 2013.[6][7]
