Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization [ANRO] (Persian: تشکیلات مقاومت ملی آذربایجان) (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan Milli Dirəniş Təşkilatı) has declared its existence in 2006.[1][2] [3][4][5] [6] [7] [8] [9][10]

ANRO defines itself as a part and subset of general National Movement of South Azerbaijan.[11]

ANRO struggles to seek and regain withheld economical, political, social, cultural and human rights and fundamental liberties of Turkish nation in South Azerbaijan.[12]

ANRO believes in and acts within the democratic and civil struggle methods and values.[13][14]

ANRO avoids and condemns all kinds of violence especially governmental and organized armed terrorists.

Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization – ANRO-, strongly believes that the necessary conditions for Turkish nation in Iranian Azerbaijan to benefit the self-determination right are occurred and fulfilled.[15][16]

In ANRO opinion, struggling to enjoy the self-determination right is a legitimate and necessary right of Turkish nation in Iranian Azerbaijan.[17]

Ceremony of the tenth anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization was held with the presence of authorities, members, supporters and guests from other organizations in South Azerbaijan on 22 March 2016.[18][19]

The National Resistance Organisation advocates separatism for the Azeri Turks due to perceived discrimination and due to values of self-determination for Azeri Turks in İran.
