Andrea Bang is a Korean Canadian actress from Burnaby, British Columbia.[1] She is best known for playing Janet Kim in the CBC sitcom Kim's Convenience,[2] for which she garnered a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy Series at the 5th Canadian Screen Awards.[3]
Background
Bang was born in Burnaby to Korean immigrant parents.[2] Her sister, Diana Bang, is also an actress and writer.[2] She received a degree in Psychology from University of British Columbia in 2012 while also taking acting lessons.[2]
