Amer Gojak (Bosnian pronunciation: [ǎmer ɡôjaːk]; born 13 February 1997) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for 1. HNL club Dinamo Zagreb and Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 team.

Club career

Early career

Gojak started his career at Željezničar's youth academy, although he never got the chance to play for them on senior level.[2] After he left Željezničar due to disagreements with board, he signed with Olimpic in 2014, with whom he made his professional debut against Velež on 1 March 2014 at the age of 17.[3] Two weeks later, he scored his first goal as a professional in a triumph over Rudar Prijedor.[4]

Dinamo Zagreb

In May 2014, Gojak was transferred to Dinamo Zagreb. The move was labelled as the transfer of the biggest Bosnian talent.[5] He debuted for the club in a cup game against Istra 1961 on 3 March 2015.[6] His first goal came on 14 May 2016, in a home win against Lokomotiva.[7]

On 15 September 2016, aged 19, Gojak made his UEFA Champions League debut against Lyon.[8] In March 2017, Gojak signed a new five-year contract with the club.[9] On 29 April 2017, Gojak scored four goals in a 6–0 home win over Cibalia.[10]

International career

Gojak came through all Bosnia and Herzegovina's youth selections.[11]

His first senior call-up came in March 2017, for games against Gibraltar and Albania.[12]
