Amar Mehta (born November 19, 1990 in Staten Island, United States) is an American figure skater and author. Mehta represented India in international competition. At the 2007 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, he became the first man to represent India at an ISU Championship, where he placed 44 out of 45 competitors.[1][2] His older sister Ami Parekh is also a competitive figure skater.
