History

Alagramam Jain temple was built in the 17th Century. The Temple is in the center Place of Alagramam Village. The Temple Was Built Step by Step in between 17th-18th Century. Before Constructing the Temple in Alagramam Village People who was living in Alagramam used to go for Keezh Idayalam Jain Temple or Avani Avittam to Wear Poonal. After Some Years Alagramam Jain People Decided To Built An Temple in Alagramam Village. On the Day Of Avani Avittam they took An Small Lord Parshwanath Idol from Keezh Idayalam Temple To Alagramam And Build An Small Temple on the Occasion of Avani Avittam to Wear Poonal. After Some Days The Temple Construction Work Started. The Temple was Built Step by Step. The first Tirthankarar Adinath is The moolavar of this temple. An Separate Temple is Built For Sri Dharma Devi Amman (Kushmandi) and for Sri Bramha Devar. An Separate Panduga Silai Mandabam is Constructed.

Mahotsavam (Brahmotsavam) From 1894

The Annual Mahotsavam is Conducted for Past 123 Years From 1894 To1008 Sri Parshwanath Bhagwan. Morning and Nights Both times Mahotsavam is Conducted for 10Days. Every Year on the time of Aastniyam Period. The 10th Days Annual Bramotsavam will be happening. Starting form Sapthami Thiti and ending in Pirathamai Thiti. That is Strictly followed for long many years. Evert Year the Bramotsavam falls in June–July months.

1st Day is the Flag Hoisting Cermoney. In the Morning Darbar Flag hoisting and At Night Main Flag Hoisting Tvajarohanam With Sarvana Yakshan Image.

2nd Day Morning Sun Vahanam , Night Moon Vahanam.

3rd Day Morning And Night Devendhiran Vahanam (Head Off All Navagrahas).

The Pancha Kalyana Mahotsavam is Been conducted once in 12 Years In Alagramam Jain Temple It Was Conducted on 1972, 1994 and 2007 Respectively. Before These 3 Respective

Pancha Kalyana Mahotsav 2-3 Mohotsav been Conducted. The Next Pancha Kalyana Mahotsavam Year Is 2019.

Every Tuesday's And Friday's Worship weekend Special Poojai is Conducted for Sri Dharma Devi Amman. The Annual Festival of is Conducted as Aandu Vizha on the time of Mahotsavam for Past 30Years.

Every Year Pongal, Deepavali, Mahavir Jayanti, Mukkudai, Aastniyam, Avani Avittam, Akshaya Tritiya, Navarathri, Saraswathi Poojai, and Vijayadashami are Celebrated in A Grand Manner.

Everyday Morning Abishegam is Done. Then In Nights Astamankala Pooja's Are Being Conducted. Special Poojas and Vithanam are also conducted.
