Al Tunaiji

Al Tunaiji (الطنيجي in Arabic), also known as the Tunaij or Tanaij, is a tribe that comes from the Adnani part of Arabs and has its origin in Saudi Arabia. There is no documented source of the origin of this tribe though many of the Omani and Emarati historians consider them Adnani Arabs. The current area of residence of this tribe is Al-Dhaid in the United Arab Emirates, where they coexist with the Bani Qitab.[1][2] They are sometimes considered part of the Bani Qitab.[3] There is also a minority of them living in Dibba Al-Hisn, a town in the eastern coast of the UAE and Abu Dhabi.
