Anatomical terminology |
The accessory nasal cartilages, also referred to as sesamoid cartilages, are small sesamoid cartilages of the nose connecting the greater alar cartilage and lateral nasal cartilage. They are located in the fibrous tissue in the alae of the nose at the back of the greater alar cartilage.[1]
