Abadan County (Persian: شهرستان آبادان‎) is a county in Khuzestan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Abadan.[2] At the 2006 census, the county's population was 275,126, in 58,870 families.[3] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Arvandkenar District. The county has three cities: Abadan, Arvandkenar & Chavibdeh.
