The 2020 SAFF Championship also known as SAFF Suzuki Cup 2020 for sponsorship reasons, will be the 13th edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organized by SAFF. It is being held in Pakistan in 2020.[1] Pakistan will host this tournament for the third time, most recently in 2005 and the first time in 1993.

Host selection

Pakistan is host 2020 SAFF Championship. The decision to award the hosting duties to Pakistan was made at a SAFF gathering in Dhaka, Bangladesh on April 11, presided over by Kazi Salahuddin, President of the Bangladesh Football Federation and of South Asian Football Federation. Representatives of the football federations of Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka attended.[2]
