The 2018–19 New York Knicks season will be the 73rd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On April 12, 2018, the Knicks fired head coach Jeff Hornacek after the team missed the playoffs.[1] On May 7, 2018, the Knicks hired David Fizdale as head coach.[2]
