The 2018–19 Orlando Magic season will be the 30th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On April 12, 2018, the Magic fired head coach Frank Vogel after the team missed the playoffs.[1] On May 30, Steve Clifford was named as Vogel's replacement.[2] On September 6, owner Richard DeVos died aged 92 from complications from an infection.[3]
