The 2017–18 Coupe de France Preliminary Rounds make up the qualifying competition to decide which teams take part in the main competition from Round 7. This is the 101st season of the most major football cup in France. The competition is organised by the French Football Federation (FFF) and is open to all clubs in French football, as well as clubs from the overseas departments and territories (Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia (qualification via 2017 New Caledonia Cup), Tahiti (qualification via 2017 Tahiti Cup), Réunion, and Saint Martin).

The preliminary rounds took place between February and October 2017.

Preliminary round

Centre-Val de Loire Centre-Val de Loire

These matches were played on 20 August and 3 September 2017.[1]

  8. Game void in favour of Villepinte Flamboyants as Champs FC were penalised in advance by the authorities due to not being up to date with league subscriptions.[8]

  10. Game ruled void in favour of ES Montreuil after Courtry Foot informed the authorities too late that neither their ground nor their opponents was available on the scheduled date, and therefore a new date could not be scheduled within the deadlines set by the authorities.[7]

  19. Match abandoned after injury left FC Kingersheim with less than 8 players on the field. The scoreline at the time was 0–5. FC Bantzenheim qualify.[15]
  20. Entente Bure-Boulange were formed in May 2017 by a merger of US Boulange and FC Bure, after the first round game between the two clubs.. They took the place of FC Bure in the second round.[18]
  21. Game was replayed due to the referee not playing extra time before penalty kicks. Original result 1–1 (8–9 p).[19]
  22. Match was ordered to be replayed after the referee omitted to play extra time in the original fixture, which ES Bournos-Doumy-Garlède won on penalty kicks.[21][22]
