The 2004 Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship was the 110th staging of the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board.
O'Loughlin Gaels were the defending champions.[1]
On 31 October 2004, James Stephens won the title after a 2-12 to 3-12 defeat of Young Irelands in the final at Nowlan Park.[2] It was their seventh championship title overall and their first title since 1981.
