The 2001 Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship was the 107th staging of the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board.
Graigue-Ballycallan were the defending champions.
On 14 October 2001, O'Loughlin Gaels won the title after a 1-17 to 1-06 defeat of Graigue-Ballycallan in the final at Nowlan Park.[1] It was their first ever championship title.
