Șamșud (Hungarian: Szilágysámson) is a commune located in Sălaj County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Șamșud and Valea Pomilor (Mocsolya).

Demographics

In 2002 it had a population of 1766, of which 1582 were Hungarian (89.58%), 155 Roma (8.78%), 33 Romanian (1.87%) and 1 German (0.06%).[1]
