真情

     From: Cao Xueqin, Dream of the Red Chamber, mid-18^th century CE

     (Fèng Jiě) yīn wèn: “Shì nǎlǐ lái de?” Rùhuà zhǐdé guìxià, kūsù zhēnqíng, shuō: “Zhēn Dàyé shǎng wǒ gēgē de.” [Pinyin]

     [Sister Feng] thus asks, “Where do [these things] come from?” Ruhua has no choice but to kneel down, tells the true matter cryingly, and says, “[They are the things] that Elder Master Zhen bestowed on my elder brother.”
