أَرَاقَ (ʾarāqa) IV, non-past يُرِيقُ‎ (yurīqu)

  1. to pour forth, to spill
    • 7th century CE, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, 36:6:
      فَإِنَّ الْخَمْرَ قَدْ حُرِّمَتْ فَقَالَ يَا أَنَسُ أَرِقْ هَذِهِ الْقِلَالَ
      faʾinna l-ḵamra qad ḥurrimat faqāla yā ʾanasu ʾariq haḏihi l-qilāla
      Verily, wine has been forbidden. O Anas, spill these pitchers!
