Literally “to cut around”, from թլիփ (tʿlipʿ, round border) + -ատ (-at).

Verb

թլփատեմ (tʿlpʿatem)  (aorist indicative թլփատեցի)

  1. to circumcise
    զգերեզման թլփատելzgerezman tʿlpʿatelto desecrate sepulchres and despoil the dead
