Usage notes
The verb is usually used with the preposition za (“for”), followed by an object in instrumental case. When the object is an action, it is in represented as an infinitive (Western Serbo-Croatian) or a da + present tense formation (used mostly in Eastern Serbo-Croatian). The rarest form of usage is with the direct object in accusative case.
