1. (intransitive) to pass through something
2. (transitive) to cross

   çayı keçmək ― to cross the river

   Yaşıl işıq yananda, yolu keçmək olar. ― When the green light goes on, one may cross the street.

3. (transitive, figuratively) to pass, leave behind

   Astaranı artıq keçmişdik, Ərdəbilə bir saat qalırdı.

   We had already left Astara behind, one hour was remaining to Ardabil.

4. (intransitive, figuratively, with ablative) to pass (a test etc)

   sınaqdan keçmək ― to pass a test

5. (intransitive) to enter, to come in

   Buyurun, keçin içəri! ― Please, come inside! (said to several people)

6. (intransitive) to pass, to go away (of illness, troubles, etc)

   Qrip bir həftədən sonra keçdi ― The flue went away after a week.
