Potamonautes antheus is een krabbensoort uit de familie van de Potamonautidae.[3] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1920 door Colosi.

De soort is bekend uit het zuidwesten van Ethiopië.
