NGC 4943
NGC 4943 is een lensvormig sterrenstelsel in het sterrenbeeld Hoofdhaar. Het hemelobject werd op 20 april 1865 ontdekt door de Duits-Deense astronoom Heinrich Louis d'Arrest.
