NGC 4849
NGC 4849 is een lensvormig sterrenstelsel in het sterrenbeeld Hoofdhaar. Het hemelobject werd op 4 maart 1867 ontdekt door de Duits-Deense astronoom Heinrich Louis d'Arrest.
