Oussalah was vanaf januari 2009 actief als middenvelder bij KV Kortrijk, na een eerder dienstverband bij Excelsior Moeskroen. In zijn jeugd speelde Oussalah bij Tilleur-Liégeois en RFC Seraing. Voor het seizoen 2014/15 verhuisde hij samen met zijn coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck van KV Kortrijk naar KAA Gent.
