Carrière

In 2014 won García een etappe en het eindklassement in de Ronde van Colombia voor nieuwelingen, twee jaar later won hij die voor junioren.

In 2017 werd hij prof bij Manzana Postobón Team. In zijn eerste profseizoen nam hij onder meer deel aan de Brabantse Pijl en de Ronde van Madrid.
