Birmese buulbuul
De Birmese buulbuul (Iole viridescens) is een zangvogel uit de familie Pycnonotidae (buulbuuls). De leefgebieden van de vogel zijn subtropische of tropische laaglandregenwouden.

Verspreiding en leefgebied
Deze soort telt twee ondersoorten:
- I. v. myitkyinensis: noordoostelijk en oostelijk Myanmar.
- I. v. virescens: zuidelijk Myanmar en zuidwestelijk Thailand.
Afgesplitst als aparte soort:
- I. cacharensis (cacharbuulbuul): noordoostelijk India en zuidoostelijk Bangladesh.
