De 28ste editie van de Europacup I voor vrouwen werd gehouden van 1 juni tot en met 4 juni 2001 in's-Hertogenbosch. De hockeydames van Hockeyclub 's-Hertogenbosch versloegen in de finale voor eigen publiek dan ook het Russische Moskva Pravda.
