Verhaal

Bill Dancer en het weesmeisje Curly Sue, leven als zwervers op straat en proberen te voorzien in hun dagelijks onderhoud door andere mensen beet te nemen. Op een dag ontmoeten ze bij één van hun trucs een rijke advocate, Grey Ellison, waar ze niet direct weer vanaf komen.
