Chromonephthea megasclera is een zachte koraalsoort uit de familie Nephtheidae. De koraalsoort komt uit het geslacht Chromonephthea. Chromonephthea megasclera werd in 2005 voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door van Ofwegen.
