Deze soort telt 2 ondersoorten:

  • A. f. flaveolus: van de oostelijke Himalaya tot noordelijk Myanmar.
  • A. f. burmanicus: zuidoostelijk Myanmar, zuidelijk China en westelijk Thailand.
