It was released on July 28, 2017 as the fourth single from Future's sixth studio album, Hndrxx (2017).[1] The song was written by Future and Minaj along with producer Detail and Andre Price, and was produced by Detail and Go Grizzly.

The video for You da Baddest was shot in February 2017, while Nicki Minaj was in the process of responding to rapper Remy Ma, The official video was released on July 27, 2017, Minaj is wearing many different looks containing a red sexy suit and a fur coat with some glasses and some Gucci clothes under, The video takes place at a hotel in Miami.
