Yeseria

Yeseria is a technique of carving plaster used by the Moors in Spain in successive periods of Mudéjar architecture.[1]

Following the tradition of working plaster as a decoration material, plaster was often carved into geometric and Islamic-influenced motifs. The Alhambra and the Alcázar of Seville have many fine examples of yeseria.
