In December 2011, WADM dropped its classic country format in favor of Jazz as WJZI ("Jazz in Indiana"). The new station plays traditional jazz as opposed to "smooth jazz." The call letters WJZI were formerly used by what is now WLDB in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when that station had a smooth jazz format. WJZI is now the only full-time jazz radio station in northeast Indiana, although WBOI in Fort Wayne is an NPR member station which plays jazz in the evening and overnight hours.
