WJET primarily runs the standard iHeart/Premiere Networks conservative talk lineup on weekdays and the prerequisite local morning program. Erie Talk in the Morning is hosted by Barry Dain Steinhagen and Jim LeCorchick, followed by Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Buck Sexton, Joe Pags (from another syndicator) and Coast to Coast AM. Under previous ownership, Rush Limbaugh was dropped in December 2008 after Premiere demanded higher rights fees from WJET's owner, but it was immediately restored with iHeart's ownership in 2019.

On March 27, 2019, Connoisseur Media announced that it would transfer WJET along with its sister stations to iHeartMedia in exchange for WFRE and WFMD in the Frederick, Maryland, market from the Aloha Station Trust.[1]The sale closed on May 21, 2019.
