WEKA-LD is a digital low-powered television station serving the Cleveland-Akron-Canton, Ohio media market. Licensed to Canton, Ohio, the station is owned by DTV America Corporation. The station broadcasts its digital signal on UHF channel 26 (virtual channel 41 via PSIP). All of WEKA's channels are duplicated on sister station WUEK-LD, channel 25 (virtual channel 26 via PSIP).[1] It is currently silent, but will be reactivated.

History

The Federal Communications Commission issued the station's initial construction permit for W27DL-D on February 22, 2011. The current WEKA-LD callsign was adopted on April 15, 2015. The station signed on the air in sometime in 2016 as a Newsmax TV affiliate on its main channel. Not too long after WEKA signed on, DTV America signed on WQDI-LD as an Estrella TV affiliate.
