The municipality covers an area of 13.16 square kilometres (5.08 sq mi), and has a population of 842 (as at 3 July 2006).
Veselíčko lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Přerov, 20 km (12 mi) east of Olomouc, and 230 km (143 mi) east of Prague.
The first recorded mention of the village dates from 1275.
