Tunnel (TV series)

Tunnel (Korean: 터널; RR: Teoneol) is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Choi Jin-hyuk, Yoon Hyun-min and Lee Yoo-young.[1][2] It replaced Voice and aired on cable network OCN every Saturdays and Sundays at 22:00 (KST) time slot from March 25 to May 21, 2017 for 16 episodes.[3] The series was inspired by the Hwaseong serial murders.[4]

Synopsis

In 1986, Park Gwang-ho works as an excellent and enthusiastic detective. His life changes when he’s pursuing leads in a serial homicide case and then passes through a tunnel, which transports him 30 years into the future, 2016. He meets a new partner Kim Seon-jae, an elite detective who happens to be a bit eccentric, but is one highly skilled investigator. The serial killer has resumed the killings that began 30 years ago, the detective duo alongside psychology professor Shin Jae-yi work together to solve the case and catch the killer.
