Tayshia Adams

Tayshia Adams (born September 4, 1990)[2] is an American television personality. She received national recognition after appearing as a contestant on season 23 of The Bachelor.[3][4][5][1][6] Adams was one of the final two contestants, alongside Hannah Godwin, both of whom were eliminated when Colton decided to end the show to pursue Cassie Randolph.[7][8] After being eliminated from the show, she appeared on season six of Bachelor in Paradise in August 2019,[9] where she started dating fellow contestant John Paul Jones. The two split in September of 2019, prior to the show's finale.[10]

Personal life

Adams is originally from Newport Beach, California. She attended Concordia University and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor degree in biology.[1] In addition to being a reality television personality, Adams is also a former phlebotomist.[4][1][11] She works at an interior design firm.[4] Prior to appearing on The Bachelor, Adams was a fitness instructor. She is Christian and has participated in religious missions in Africa. She was married to Josh Bourelle. The couple divorced in October 2017.[1]

After the finale of season six of Bachelor in Paradise, Tayshia and John Paul Jones rekindled their relationship when she traveled to Saint Michaels, Maryland, to "see if he would be willing to give their relationship another chance."[12] The two dated for a couple of months before ending their relationship again in late October.[10][13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
