Taco Hero

America's Taco Hero is a promotion by Taco Bell,[1] which is part of the "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotional campaign by Taco Bell which first began in 2007. If a player steals a base during the World Series, a free taco is then available to everyone in the United States on a specified day for a limited amount of time. The first Taco Hero was Jacoby Ellsbury who stole second base against the Colorado Rockies in the 2007 World Series. In 2015, Lorenzo Cain of the Kansas City Royals stole second base and won America an A.M. Crunchwrap rather than a taco. Since 2016, the prize has been a free Doritos Locos Taco[1]
